Your operating environment

The next stage needs more than another tool.

Customer insight, the sales pipeline and operational reality often sit in different places. Your leadership team needs to see the relationships: what you promise, what customers value and what the business can deliver. That is where my commercial and AI experience comes together.

What we can work towards

A clearer commercial picture

Connect agreed pipeline, customer and operating information so leaders can see where the business is gaining or losing momentum.

A promise teams can deliver

Bring positioning, sales conversations and customer experience together. Use shared context to make the brand’s promise practical.

Capability around your people

Build useful workflows and second brains with the team, so knowledge is easier to find and recurring work takes less effort.

Experience that informs the work

Sales and product are part of the same job.

Recent work includes UKOPRA’s live operating platform, full-stack financial AI at Tobin and an accounting-practice migration pilot with IRISv2. That hands-on work builds on a commercial background: leading a sector representing more than 40% of Workbooks revenue, building a seven-person sales team at Fygo and establishing RescueMetrics in EMEA.

About Nicolai
An illustrative application

From customer conversation to team action.

An illustrative application: bring sales call notes, agreed CRM information and service feedback into a shared brief. Identify recurring objections, gaps between the promise and delivery, and opportunities to improve the offer. The leadership team reviews the evidence and chooses the actions.

A possible starting point, not a completed-client case study. Scope is agreed together.
SMEs, in practice

A clearer basis for action.

A conversation with Nicolai

What would you like to move forward?

Tell me a little about your situation in the short brief below. It takes about three minutes and only I read it. If it looks like a fit, you’ll get a link to book a free half-hour with me. If it doesn’t, I’ll say so plainly and point you somewhere more useful.

30 minutes with Nicolai

A half-hour,
in confidence.

Where most conversations begin.

Share your brief first so I have the context before we speak. You’ll then be able to choose a time on Cal.com. A free half-hour. No card details, no obligation.

Before you decide

A little clarity.

Do we need a large technology team?

No. We scope the work around the people, tools and support you have. Responsibilities for maintaining systems are agreed before building.

Can the work include sales and positioning?

Yes. My commercial background informs the agreed scope: customer insight, positioning, sales effectiveness and the connection to operational delivery.

Will this replace our CRM or other systems?

A replacement is not assumed. We start with the tools and information you use, then agree what is worth connecting, improving or building.

Private by design

Most of what we build never appears on this site.

I work with a handful of leaders at a time. I don’t name clients unless they ask me to. I’ll sign your NDA before I see anything, or you can use mine, and we agree where your information lives before we start.

If you’d rather your team didn’t know you were exploring this yet, that’s how most conversations begin.
