Your operating environment

A lot can move. It needs to move together.

At Seed and beyond, flexibility is valuable. The challenge is keeping customer insight, investor expectations and delivery connected as the company changes. A useful operating environment helps the founder see where attention is needed without turning every question into another meeting.

What we can work towards

A shared view of the business

Bring agreed commercial signals, delivery activity and decisions into a leadership brief with links to the source.

Context that survives the week

Build a second brain around customer conversations, product choices and the reasoning behind them.

A clearer next move

Connect the work teams own with the outcomes the business needs. Surface dependencies early enough to act.

Experience that informs the work

I know the founder’s seat.

My 2026 work includes agent memory and orchestration across WatsonOS, CHIE and Foundation, full-stack financial AI at Tobin, and institutional-memory work for a European venture capital firm. I also help BTR Ventures with product, go-to-market capability and investment evaluation. Previously, I founded Jenesys AI, raised £3m and led a 25-person team.

About Nicolai
An illustrative application

A founder’s weekly decision brief.

An illustrative application: connect agreed CRM reports, customer notes and delivery updates. See what changed, where customer expectations and product plans diverge, and which decisions need an owner. Every summary links back to its source; the founder judges what to do.

A possible starting point, not a completed-client case study. Scope is agreed together.

What would you like to move forward?

Tell me a little about your situation in the short brief below. It takes about three minutes and only I read it. If it looks like a fit, you’ll get a link to book a free half-hour with me. If it doesn’t, I’ll say so plainly and point you somewhere more useful.

30 minutes with Nicolai

A half-hour,
in confidence.

Where most conversations begin.

Share your brief first so I have the context before we speak. You’ll then be able to choose a time on Cal.com. A free half-hour. No card details, no obligation.

Before you decide

A little clarity.

Is this for a particular funding stage?

The focus is VC-backed startups from Seed onwards. The right scope depends on your team, priorities and readiness to act, rather than a funding label alone.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. We agree responsibilities and access, involve the right colleagues and preserve their ownership of the work.

Is this a fundraising service?

These programmes focus on AI capability, your operating environment and implementation. Fundraising and investor introductions are not included programme commitments.

Private by design

Most of what we build never appears on this site.

I work with a handful of leaders at a time. I don’t name clients unless they ask me to. I’ll sign your NDA before I see anything, or you can use mine, and we agree where your information lives before we start.

If you’d rather your team didn’t know you were exploring this yet, that’s how most conversations begin.
